Continuing our sermon series in the Gospel of Matthew, this message from Matthew 12:1–14 explores Jesus’ confrontation with legalism and His emphasis on mercy over ritual. As Jesus declares Himself Lord of the Sabbath and heals a man on the Sabbath, we are reminded that God values relationship over rules and calls His people to reflect His compassion by doing good.
